Andreas Burz Photography   Based in Stuttgart, Southern Germany, Andreas Burz uses cutting edge equipment & techniques to produce stunning commercial photography. The website design's not bad, either!


Bill Jay, 1940 - 2009   Sad news in May 2009 was the death of Bill Jay, the prolific and influential magazine editor, writer on photography and fine photographer in his own right. This is his personal website which contains many of his articles and galleries of his photographs.


Black and White Photography by Nobuyuki Taguchi   Some wonderful photography of London created by both traditional and digital means. If you're looking for inspiration for a series of your own on the theme of 'My Town', you could not find better than this!


Bob McClelland Photography   Inspirational urban and coastal scenes and abstracts in monochrome and colour.


Cambridge in Colour Sean McHugh's website features work conducted while he was pursuing his PhD in chemical engineering at the University of Cambridge. It includes a gallery of his photographs of the university city and also a series of digital imaging tutorials.

Ctein's On-Line Gallery   Ctein is considered to be one of the very best color printers alive today and one of a very small number of artists still making dye transfer prints. His website contains several galleries of these wonderful colour prints and, even if - like me - you can't afford to buy one, the online examples are large enough to enjoy.


Dave Butcher Photography  The Website of Dr Dave Butcher, ARPS. Some stunning images from the man who managed Ilford Photo photographic printing department 1993 - 2000.


Don Kirby, Photographer  Wonderful landscape photography from this fine American photographer.


Eric Meola Photography   Galleries of stunning photographs from this modern master.


F45: Rolfe Horn Photography  An excellent website showcasing the work of this fine American photographer. Of particular interest is the section detailing his printing technique.


Fan Ho - 100 Photographs  Award-wining photographer Fan Ho has won 268 awards from international exhibitions and competitions worldwide since 1956. Ho has been elected Fellow of the Photographic Society of America, Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, England; Honorary Member of the Photographic Societies of Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Singapore and was honoured with One-Man-Shows in the above countries. As its title suggests, the site features a gallery of the pictures in his latest publication.


Fay Godwin   Described as an 'interim' website, there are many photographs by this renowned photographer, with biographical information and much more besides.


Fredrik Clement   If great Sports photography is your thing, then the website of this Danish photographer is for you, though the interface takes a bit of getting used to! Inspiration for the forthcoming 'Action' category in this year's 'Travelling Exhibition' competition, perhaps?


Gary Auerbach Gary Auerbach is one of a small number of photographers in the world who produces Platinum photographs. He specialises in portraiture, but his site also includes a landscape / cityscape gallery and some interesting Polaroid image transfers.


Graham Whitwham   Graham Whitwham, ARPS, is a landscape photographer living in South Lakeland, Cumbria. Of particular interest on his website are pictures taken with a Fuji 617 panoramic camera.

Jay Wesler   Jay Wesler is an American fine art photographer who specializes in western landscape and nostalgic cityscape imagery. Some magnificent monochrome work to enjoy in the American landscape tradition. (Note that the gallery has a slideshow function.)


Joy White  Living in the West Country, Joy White specialises in landscape, portraiture, architectural photography and documentary work together with her Monochrome Fine Print collection.


Juan Buhler   Is a street photographer about whom I know next to nothing, except that he has some very fine photographs on his website, in various galleries. The sort of pictures I would take . . . if I had 'the eye'!


Juraj Lipscher  A beautifully-designed site displaying the photographs of this Prague-born photographer, who now lives and works in Switzerland. Several galleries of evocative and sensitive photography.

Ken Rockwell Ken is both an award-winning photographer, and teacher of photography. - His website contains an interesting collection of his thoughts and writings about photography, from equipment and technique to aesthetics. Martin Parr  Has an international reputation for innovative imagery and a unique approach to social documentary photography. This website contains portfolios of his most famous work as well as examples of his current projects.


Mary Ellen Mark   Another world-renowned photographer's website, with several wonderful galleries of pictures, notably 'Celebrities', a primer for all budding portraitists!


Mono Photography   Donald Cameron, based in Perth, Scotland. "My photography is inspired by the landscape of Scotland. O. Winston Link  The Link Museum in Roanoke, Virginia was set up to celebrate the life and work of O. Winston Link, one of the most innovative railway photographers. As well as interesting biographical information, the website has a gallery of Link's work.

Rodger Hamilton, War Photographer  A little-known name outside his native Columbus, Ohio, Rodger Hamilton's war photography for the Columbus Dispatch is outstanding, and this website contains an extensive gallery as well as a biography of this fine photographer.


Shannon Neth Photography  Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Shannon Neth specialises in child photography, a genre which many of you will recognise as an exercise in saintliness! The galleries contain lots of ideas for photographing your own children or grandchildren, and - yes - you can turn the music off!  The control is in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.


Steve Gosling Photography   Steve Gosling is a professional photographer who specialises in producing creative & contemporary landscape and nature images. This website has a portfolio of his work, and is particularly interesting for the pinhole photographs displayed.


Steve Hoffmann's Nature and Landscape Photography  "This web site is basically divided into two sections. The first section consists of my photo galleries. The second section is comprised of digital imaging articles and equipment reviews." High quality landscape and nature photography.


Studio Strangelove  Mostly abstract analogue photography in colour and black & white from English photographer, Nik Strangelove.


The Beier Collection   'They wanted to clean up the basement but found a treasure trove of photos instead.' After Berlin teacher Manfred Beier died, his sons stumbled across 60,000 pictures. Their father, it turns out, created one of the best documentations of life in East Germany, and the first days of the West. A wonderful gallery archive of the work of this unknown amateur photographer, who left over 50,000 35mm negatives, as well as slides and medium format negatives.


The Ernst Haas Studio  A stunning new site showcasing the work of this master photographer.


The Living American Masters Project  'Paul Waldman wants to know what makes photographers tick. With his "Living American Masters Photography Project," Waldman is documenting photographers as artists and individuals so that "we see them as people, professionals, and not just as the photo credit we associate them with."

Tobyal's Picture-A-Day Project  Don't know what to photograph? Stuck for ideas? This site might be just the shot in the arm you need! I don't know who Tobyal is - it may be one of you, for all I know - but he's posted a picture every day during 2007. You can see all 365, arranged by months here. Not every one is a masterpiece, but there are some gems and his site is a real inspiration to us all. And if a picture a day's just too much, how about trying to take one a week, or even a month? As long as it's not one a year!


Vincent Laforet  This New York based photographer has an innovative approach to aerial photography. Explore his galleries and wonder: 'How does he do that?'


Virtually Grey Gallery  'Fine Black and White Photography of the Land, Sea and Sky by Stephen J Gledhill.'
